Problem
Mercatus, a Portuguese company known for food refrigeration and UV medical equipment, set out to launch a new brand focused on high-end refrigeration solutions tailored specifically for the pharmaceutical and medical sectors, combining precision engineering with innovation to meet strict industry standards.
Solution
I developed Mercatus Bioscience as an umbrella brand to house Mercatus’s new range of medical and pharmaceutical products. The identity is sleek and modern, featuring AI generated microscopic imagery that gives the brand a distinctive, science-inspired look.
Alongside the branding, I designed a new website, launch video, product guides, company presentation, and a complete suite of social media assets.
Branding
Mercatus needed a fresh brand identity for its medical refrigeration line something modern, precise, and distinctive. I researched competitors and identified a lack of visual innovation in the sector.
I developed two creative directions: one featuring AI generated microscopic imagery for a futuristic, science led feel, and another with a clean logo mark and standard stock photography for a more traditional look. The client chose a hybrid, blending both approaches into a bold yet professional identity that sets Mercatus Bioscience apart from other medical and pharmaceutical brands.

I designed and launched the new Mercatus-Bioscience website to showcase their innovative medical refrigeration products. Aligning with the refreshed brand identity, the site combines sleek layouts, AI inspired visuals, and intuitive navigation. It delivers a modern, professional online presence that strengthens credibility and engages pharmaceutical and medical industry audiences.



Motion

I produced a launch video for Mercatus Bioscience to introduce the new brand and product range. The video highlighted the company’s expertise in medical refrigeration while reflecting the modern, precise visual identity. Designed for presentations and digital platforms, it helped build awareness and support the brand’s market introduction.

To support the launch of Mercatus-Bioscience, I developed a complete set of marketing materials, including social media assets, a comprehensive product guide, and a professional company presentation. Each deliverable was designed to reflect the new brand’s sleek and modern identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms. The social content helped build awareness, the product guide provided clear, structured information for clients, and the presentation delivered a strong visual narrative for launches and sales meetings, strengthening Mercatus-Bioscience’s presence in the medical refrigeration market.
