Problem

Hubron, a Manchester based manufacturer specialising in black masterbatch and conductive compounds, faced challenges in expanding their business. Despite their strong technical expertise and , their existing brand and design materials did not effectively communicate their innovation or appeal to new sectors. They needed design support to modernize their image and better connect with a wider range of potential clients.

Solution

A refreshed brand identity was developed that built on Hubron's existing brand colours to maintain recognition while introducing a modern grid-based design system for consistency and flexibility across all materials. The new visual approach conveyed precision, innovation, and reliability, core attributes of the company. Alongside the updated branding, a fully redesigned website was launched, improving user experience, navigation, and visual impact to better showcase Hubron’s expertise and attract a broader customer base.

The creation of Hubron’s new website began with in-depth client calls to fully understand their goals and audience. Collaborative workshops helped shape the site’s structure and user journey, leading to detailed wireframes and refined design concepts. The final website combined modern visuals with clear functionality, supported by new on-site photography that highlighted Hubron’s people, products, and manufacturing excellence.

Campaigns

Hubron’s brand awareness campaign centred around their black plastic masterbatch pellets. The Essential Ingredient in Plastic Innovation. 

 

The campaign drew a visual and conceptual parallel between the pellets and grains of salt, highlighting how just a small amount can make a big difference. Through striking imagery and concise messaging, the campaign positioned Hubron as the “essential ingredient” behind stronger, more reliable plastics, reinforcing their expertise and importance within the manufacturing process.

Social media designs were created for Hubron using the new branding, featuring the updated colour palette, grid system, and bold typography. The cohesive visuals showcased their innovation and expertise, strengthening brand recognition and engagement across all platforms.
